last nights pain…

last nights pain was so familiar ~

crying in the night,
quiet crying for the pain of being alone.
for the pain of not being enough.
for the pain of father abandonment.

so much old and familiar pain for me ~
to the root of my childhood.
such an old and familiar experience.

the opening memory/belief: men abandon, men betray, men leave, men don’t show up.

as in: father abandons, father betrays, father leaves, father doesn’t show up.

last night’s pain… “i’ve lost my beloved”… oooffff.
